Expanding upon the existing visual identity of Emissions Reduction Alberta, the creation of a primary brand graphic allows for the unique work of ERA to be communicated visually when it is applied to various brand documents and environments. The client's work investing in technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions spans many different sectors. Playing with a spectrum of colour, the graphic highlights these symbols of technology, industry, energy, emissions, and the environment. Placed against a triangular grid, the image builds upon an existing visual language of ERA and incorporates more narrative elements. The breadth of the graphic makes it ideal to crop into to create different colour schemes and provide variation to the diverse print needs of the organization. In addition to installing a floor-to-ceiling mural in their office and boardroom, the graphic has served on print promotion pieces, web graphics, and trade show displays.
