3D lettering across the night sky with golden reflections to spell out the word ‘Courage’. The lettering is like a suit of armour encouraging students to reach for the stars. Featuring layers of depth and detail across an arched framework. The cover includes a see-through oval window at the top to highlight the school’s name. This design was also used for a hanging banner that can be hung in classrooms as encouragement and inspiration.

OCEAN DISCOVERY
For this ‘Ocean Discovery’ design, I illustrated an array of underwater creatures to fill every inch of the cover. Assembled like a puzzle, the sea life fit together strategically and individuals animals are coloured so that the overall effect creates a radial spectrum gradient. An octopus, squid, turtle, lobster, shark, swordfish, and moorish idol are all depicted to achieve a 'search and find' cover activity.

HOME OF THE BRAVE
This design was developed for American students to be sold on the American PiQ Potential online store. I illustrated a collage of notable landmarks across the country, from coast to coast. The Golden Gate Bridge and Redwoods of the west, the Delicate Arch and Mount Rushmore, and the Statue of Liberty flanking the east coast all make an appearance. The illustration is rendered by using layers of monochromatic colour for each shape to gradually build up the contrast.

LET HOPE GUIDE YOUR JOURNEY
This fantastical map and compass tell a story of hope and perseverance. The journey has its challenges, but the compass and lighthouse are reminders of the tools we use to guide us and navigate. There are intentionally lots of details inside this map, the treehouse castle, the toadstool homes, ship at sea, and stylized mountain range with a dragon etc. for students to enjoy looking at daily.
